The Academic Writing program, funded by ONGCF, was held from February 6th to March 31st, 2023, and offered 60 admissions for this year's session. This program aimed to enhance the writing skills of participants, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of academic writing principles and practices, and empowering them to produce high-quality written work in English.

This program aimed to enhance the writing skills of participants, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of academic writing principles and practices, and empowering them to produce high-quality written work in Hindi.
The Writing Centre, in collaboration with FORTELL (a peer-reviewed UGC CARE-listed journal
of Teaching English Language and Literature), organised an online talk by Prof Anita Charles,
director of Teacher Education in Bates College, USA, on the 23 rd of May, 2024. The topic of the
talk was "What's a Teacher to Do? The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Teaching and
Learning Language." Prof Veena Kapur introduced the speaker while Prof Sanjoy Roy delivered
the vote of thanks.
